Dent Wins Another OMMA

Well, we were a finalist, which is pretty good considering the competition, right? And in a pretty cool category, Advanced TV.
The award was for the "Honoring the Ingredients" TV spot for Morinaga's Alove Yogurt. We approached this as our own version of Netflix's "Chef's Table", which is a nicer way of saying food porn. Here's what the OMMA (MediaPost's Online Marketing & Media Awards) had to say:
"Aloe vera in your yogurt -- a product more associated with sun skin protection? Better have some great video creative to start. Morinaga’s Alove Yogurt showed off some cool, ready-to-eat aloe vera with a chef in a kitchen."
Well, that's one way to put it. The bottom line is that we love food.
Not just eating, but the entire experience, from choosing just the right ingredients at the produce stand to the prep, mis en place, styling, setting up a 3-camera shoot, lighting endlessly, and editing. And editing. And editing. Which comes after eating. Nothing involves all the senses like food. And we feel very lucky to be able to work in this marketing biz with food. So we are perhaps over-dedicated to sharing our passion with clients, consumers, family and friends.
